Old Metallica sort of disappeared from the trash metal scene after the (some say) Black album, so will their new album Death Magnetic that pulls roots to the old Metallica and trash, with it pull them out the pit they have fallen into....once most popular (and some say THE best) metal band in the world has been erased from our ears for this past years....although here and there you could hear the sound of their biggest hits...now will our ears bleed again with their new and VERY loud album...
With mainstream support they have taken 1st place in some top lists, how will that reflect on their old fans that have been faithful to them trough the years, and will it pull back the rest of the fans and start to turn heads in the rest of the metal scene.

the question remains.....with it, the memory remains too....

Are unexpectly good. I was not expecting anything from this album to be honest. But those songs impressed me. Now Unforgiven 3 is not even in the same ballpark as the other too but for new metallica its good. Also Day that never comes is an instant classic, reminds me of One. Great build up. The reason I don't like the other songs is because James voice almost sounds like its taunting the Justice cd. He always sounds angry, but in a bad way. He almost sounds like a grunge/country singer with over intensifying lyrics.
