How's it going guys? I'm Dave, thanksgiving is this weekend. Gotta love long weekends. Also, there are absoultely nothing worth seeing in theaters.
Lastly, my sociology homework is killing me

Hi Dave, I'm Nevil....well same here, in Croatia, nothing in theaters, me & my girlfriend already saw everything good....we had a similar day in the middle of the week (Wednesday), but that day only, so no long weekend for us...yet...
Don't have any homework yet, but I do have problems with math....hate it..

..and this thread is a good idea..sorry for low responses college kinda takes the days away...so welcome & feel free to give any ideas if you have them...

p.s. if you haven't noticed yet we have a serious problem.. no members .. let alone active members .. so if you know someone who knows anyone who likes this kind of music ..

Yup I'm pretty much in the same boat.
Also I'm trying to comprehend Fuctionalism. Its a theory that believes that society fuctions as a whole and if one element does not succeed, then the society suffers.
Now I must apply this to issue and critize it. I am having a tough time.

If I may ask, why in haven or in hell would there be a subject like Fuctionalism? it doesn't seem to explain anything BUT the reason why we have & need governments who govern US, so we'd function like a hive, so to say...see, if we wouldn't have government we would have anarchy or chaos, yet if a society could, some day in the distant future, realize we need each other, and honor your brother we could live without those rich sons of b....I guess you will say I'm an idiot to this, but I lost my faith in government & almost all the rest institutions in the world...except maybe family

I definately agree on that love your brother part. Every year we look at who to vote for to run our country...This is the best of the best? The cream of the crop? I've seen students who can speak better than these politicians.

I don't know if you follow the news, I saw bbc transmitted some...there has been a series of bombings & killings here...I mean...no body is not doing anything about it...couple of kids...bangers just to say....got killed...a daughter of a known attorney...and a recognized reporter got professionally bombed...and a few others..
people know whats going on but everyone is keeping silent...now there are changes in government...yeah right!!...changes when everyone is once again appointed by the same man who put their predecessor there originally...kids were a misdirection...those few with ties in government knew to much...and it looks it goes around to 2 men...one of them a former general...the other the top of the government...

it looks like Italy at mobs best here...

Its not the cream of the crop...not by a long shot...people are greedy...power money you name it...i don't wanna even start with this money crisis...
